I. SUMMARY

The Carson Municipal Code currently permits the sale and use of "safe and sane" fireworks (such as sparklers, ground-spinning fireworks and others that do not leave the ground). Most other fireworks are already banned ("illegal fireworks") with certain exceptions such as public displays of fireworks allowed by the Carson Municipal Code (e.g., fireworks shows conducted by Dignity Health Sports Park).
