CONSIDER RATIFYING RESOLUTION NO. 22-11-CRJPA “A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON RECLAMATION AUTHORITY APPROVING A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF CARSON FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE FORMER CAL COMPACT LANDFILL"

I. SUMMARY
The Authority approved the Cooperation Agreement at a joint meeting with the City Council on May 23, 2022. A resolution was included with the staff report for approval, except it was a copy of the City Council resolution 22-097 approving the same agreement. The Cooperation Agreement has been approved by the Authority Board but to preserve the legislative record, the Board is asked to approve the correct Carson Reclamation Authority Resolution. There is no change to either the agreement or the resolution from the May 23 meeting.
II. RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
1. WAIVE FURTHER READING AND APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 22-11-CRJPA “A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON RECLAMATION AUTHORITY APPROVING A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF CARSON FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE FORMER CAL COMPACT LANDFILL"
2. AUTHORIZE the Chair to execute the resolution and the Agreement and any related documents.

TAKE another action the Board deems appropriate.
IV. BACKGROUND
Staff is proposing that the Board consider ratifying Resolution No. 22-11-CRJPA which was approved on May 23, 2022. Due to a clerical error, the City Council Resolution No. 22-097 was included as an attachment instead. The correct Carson Reclamation Authority Resolution No. 22-11-CRJPA replaces the version that was attached on the May 23, 2022 Agenda.
