PRESENTATION ON DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS ON FORMER CAL COMPACT LANDFILL INCLUDING CELL 2, CELLS 3, 4, AND 5, AND CELL 1
Body
I. SUMMARY
The Carson Reclamation Authority Board recently asked Staff to make a presentation on a number of issues related to the Cal Compact Landfill, including the status of the Los Angeles Premium Outlets project on Cell 2; an update on the Carson Goose Owner, LLC project on Cells 3, 4, and 5; and the status of any proposals on Cell 1.
By separate action on this action, the Board is asked to approve Resolution No. 21-10-CRJPA declaring Cell 1 surplus property under the Surplus Land Act; the Cell 3, 4, and 5 project is nearing the release of its Supplemental Environmental Impact Report; and the CRA and CAM-Carson,LLC met on July 16, 2021 to discuss settlement of the litigation on Cell 2.
