BUSINESS LICENSES / STATUS UPDATE (CITY COUNCIL)

I. SUMMARY
At the February 18, 2020 City Council meeting, the City Council directed the Revenue Division of the Finance Department to compile a list of all new business license information. The list of all business licenses in Carson has been compiled and has been included as Exhibit A. In the future, a list of new business licenses will be provided to the City Council on a quarterly basis.

IV. BACKGROUND
At the Council meeting on February 18, 2020, the City Council requested all new business license information. The preliminary list (Exhibit A) represents all current business licenses issued to commercial businesses that register Carson as the primary operating location. The business license list provides the business name, business address, and type of business. Staff will provide all new business license to City Council on a quarterly basis.
