Title

CONSIDER AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 19-157 TO ADD THE APPROPRIATE DEPOSIT ACCOUNT NUMBER (CITY COUNCIL)

Body

I.                     SUMMARY

On September 17, 2019, City Council approved adoption of Resolution No.
19-157 (Exhibit No. 1), to facilitate a contract amendment for additional on-call planning services.  However, Staff inadvertently included only the account number for the general fund contract account.  Since most of these services will be paid through developer deposits, Staff seeks Council approval to amend the resolution to include the deposit account number (Exhibit No. 2), where most of the expenditures should appropriately be charged.

                       II.                     RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

AMEND Resolution No. 19-157 to add the appropriate deposit account.

Body

III.                     ALTERNATIVES

TAKE any other action the City Council deems appropriate that is consistent with the requirements of law.

IV.                     BACKGROUND

On September 17, 2019 City Council approved adoption of Resolution No. 19-157 as part of a contract amendment with CSG Services for on-call planning services.  Staff inadvertently included only the account number for the general fund contract account.  Most of the charges will be from deposits and not the general fund.  Staff seeks Council approval to amend the resolution to include the deposit account number, where most of the expenditures should appropriately be charged, not the general fund account.                     This change does not cost the City any money, as it appropriately redirects expenditures to the developer deposit account and away from the general fund.

V.                     FISCAL IMPACT

There is no fiscal impact to amending the resolution.
