CITY CONTRACTS $25,000 AND BELOW AND THE PURPOSE OF EACH CONTRACT (CITY COUNCIL)

I. SUMMARY
This matter was discussed during the April 8, 2019, Special Council Meeting (Exhibit No. 2). During that meeting the City Council requested that staff provide a more thorough list of contracts that were signed by the previous City Manager during his tenure with the city. All department directors provided a list of those contracts below $25,000 dating back to January 2018 and attached as Exhibit No. 1 are the results of that research.

IV. BACKGROUND
The City Charter Section 319 and Carson Municipal Code 2605 authorize the City Manager to enter into agreements and sign contracts for products and services under $25,000.00.
