CONSIDERATION OF THE CITY’S COMMISSIONS, COMMITTEES AND BOARDS (CITY COUNCIL)

I. SUMMARY
This item is on the agenda at the request of Councilmember Davis-Holmes, Mayor Pro Tem Hicks, and Councilmember Dear for consideration of Commissions, Committees and Boards (CCB). A full list of CCB members and alternates is provided in Exhibit No. 1 along with their term.
II. RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
1. TAKE action that the City Council deems appropriate.

IV. BACKGROUND
Every two years after the municipal election, most Commission, Committee and Board appointments expire.
On December 4 and 13, 2018, the Mayor and City Council made appointments to all CCBs. All of the appointees were notified of their appointments and most have already taken their oath of office and began serving on their respective CCB.
V. FISCAL IMPACT
Funds for CCB stipends are already budgeted for Fiscal Year 2018-19.
