IV. BACKGROUND
The Council’s Budget/CIP Subcommittee has been exploring options to joining or not joining a Community Choice Aggregation Program (CCA) since the Spring of 2015. Council received an update on the CCA options on October 3, 2017 and directed staff to hold a community workshop to solicit input. The workshop was held on October 9th. There were a series of questions raised by the City Council and staff wanted to provide answers to the questions prior to the public hearing. Staff continues to collect information, which will all be provided to the Council in the next staff report.
