PROVIDE alternative direction.

IV.                     BACKGROUND

On February 20, 2017, the City Council approved an Agreement to Amend Services with CTI Environmental Inc. (Exhibit No. 2). Mold was discovered in Corporate Yard Locker Room Trailer, Training Room, and the Storage Utility Closet. Mold was also discovered in the Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center Dominguez Room Ceiling. Although the levels were within the normal range, and removal is not required, the City is being proactive by doing remediation followed-up with additional air monitoring.

V.                     FISCAL IMPACT

Funds for this item were not included in the FY 2016/17 budget, therefore, the budget will need to be increased by $4,389. Funds should be appropriated from the unreserved, undesignated general fund balance to account no. 01-80-010-001-6004.

 VI.                     EXHIBITS

1.                     Resolution No. 17-073 (pg. 3)
