CONSIDER JULY MEETING SCHEDULE DUE TO CITY'S OBSERVANCE OF HOLIDAY (JULY 4 - INDEPENDENCE DAY)

This item is on the agenda to consider the meeting schedule for the month of July, 2017, since the meeting date falls on a City observed holiday.
II. RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
CONSIDER the meeting schedule for the month of July and PROVIDE direction.

III. ALTERNATIVES
Option 1:
Wednesday, July 5, 2017 - Regular meeting for the Carson Reclamation Authority at 4:30 P.M.
Option 2:
Tuesday, July 4, 2017 - CANCEL meeting due to City holiday.
Option 3:
Tuesday, July 18, 2017 - Adjourned Regular meeting for the Carson Reclamation Authority at 4:30 P.M., to be held same day as City Council, Housing Authority and Successor Agency meeting.
Or;
Take another action the Carson Reclamation Authority deem appropriate.
IV. BACKGROUND
Section 2.07 of the Carson Reclamation Authority Bylaws provides, in part that if a meeting date falls upon a legal holiday, then the regular adjourned meeting shall be held the next succeeding business day.
However, the Bylaws allow for the Carson Reclamation Authority to change its regular meeting schedule to accommodate authority member schedules in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act.
