I. SUMMARY
This item is on the agenda to consider the City Council, Housing Authority, and Successor Agency meeting schedule for the month of July since the 1st regular meeting date falls on a City observed holiday.
II. RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
CONSIDER the meeting schedule for the month of July and PROVIDE direction.

Option 1:
1st July Meeting - Wednesday, July 5 - Regular meetings for the City Council, Housing Authority and Successor Agency at 5:00 P.M. for the closed session agenda and 6:00 P.M. for the business agenda.
2nd July Meeting - Tuesday, July 18 - Regular meetings for the City Council, Housing Authority and Successor Agency at 5:00 P.M. for the closed session agenda; and 6:00 P.M. for the business agenda.
Option 2:
1st July Meeting - CANCEL meeting due to City holiday.
2nd July Meeting - Tuesday, July 18 - Regular meetings for the City Council, Housing Authority and Successor Agency at 5:00 P.M. for the closed session agenda; and 6:00 P.M. for the business agenda.
Or
TAKE another action the City Council, Housing Authority and Successor Agency deem appropriate.
IV. BACKGROUND
Section 2403(A) of the Carson Municipal Code (CMC) provides, in part, the regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the hour of 5:00 P.M. If any such day is on a holiday, then the meeting shall be held on the next succeeding day of which is not a holiday.
