SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 22-2212, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A NONPUBLIC UTILITY PIPELINE FRANCHISE TO ULTRAMAR INC. (CITY COUNCIL)

I.                     SUMMARY

On June 8, 2022, under Item No. 37 of the City Council Agenda, the City Council introduced Ordinance 22-2212, for grant of a nonpublic utility pipeline franchise to Ultramar Inc.

 

II.                     RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

ADOPT BY Second Reading and by title only with further reading waived, “ORDINANCE NO. 22-2212, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFRONIA, TO GRANT A NONPUBLIC UTILITY PIPELINE FRANCHISE TO ULTRAMAR, INC.”

TAKE another action the City Council deems appropriate and that is consistent with applicable laws.

IV.                     BACKGROUND

On June 8, 2022, under Item No. 37 of the City Council Agenda, the City Council introduced Ordinance 22-2212, for grant of a nonpublic utility pipeline franchise to Ultramar Inc.

 

The City Council opened the public hearing, heard public testimony, closed the public hearing, and voted 5-0 to approve the proposed ordinance.
