PUBLIC WORKS PARKS MAINTENANCE UPDATE

I. SUMMARY
At the September 29, 2022, Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Commission meeting, Public Works Director Eliza Jane Whitman was present to discuss the many maintenance issues with the City’s parks. As a follow up to that discussion, a draft list of maintenance projects for each park has been given to the Recreation Division to review, edit, and include. Tonight, that list is being reviewed with the Commission to ensure that all additional projects have been submitted for each facility so that the list can be finalized and returned to Public Works. II. RECOMMENDATION

During its last regular meeting, Public Works Director Eliza Jane Whitman meet with members to discuss the issues they have encountered while visiting their assigned parks. Public Works Director Whitman provided updates to the work mentioned by the Commission, referencing her schedule of maintenance projects. Additionally, she noted tasks that had not yet been added to her list. An update will be provided from what was discussed. V. FISCAL IMPACT
