I. SUMMARY

On April 4, 2024, an Invitation for Bids (IFB) was issued via Planet Bids, seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction services for the City of Carson basement renovation. Despite the initial absence of bids during the open period which concluded on May 20, 2024, Interior Plus, Inc. submitted a bid later in the day. On July 2, 2024, Staff recommended, and City Council approved a Public Works Agreement with Interior Plus, Inc., in the amount not to exceed $3,789,181.16 (Exhibit No. 1).
