PARKS/FACILITIES ASSIGNMENTS

I. SUMMARY
With the recent election of a new Vice-Chair and Secretary, staff was asked to bring forth the current park assignments. The Commission must review the current park assignments and decide if any changes are to be made. Prior to each Commission meeting, members are required to visit her/his assigned facility, and later provide a summary of its state.
II. RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
ASSIGN each Commissioner a park/facility to visit and provide a report at each Commission meeting.

TAKE another action the Commission deems appropriate.
IV. BACKGROUND
Historically, each member of the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Commission is assigned a park to both visit and provide a report at monthly meetings. With the recent reorganization, park assignments must be considered, and changes possibly made, if the Commission wishes.
