PARKS, RECREATION, AND CULTURAL ARTS COMMISSION DECEMBER MEETING

I. SUMMARY
Per the Municipal Code, the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Commission meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month. The Commission has historically gone dark in December in deference to the holidays. Given this circumstance, the Commission is asked to consider if it wishes to cancel its December meeting, and resume in January.

IV. BACKGROUND
The Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Commission is regularly scheduled to meet the last Thursday of the month. With the holidays quickly approaching, staff is requesting the Commission’s direction regarding canceling its December meeting, as it typically goes dark that month.
