I. SUMMARY
On July 5, 2023, under Item No. 21 of the City Council Agenda, the City Council voted 5-0 to introduce Ordinance No. 23-2304. This item transmits a request for City Council to conduct a Second Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 23-2304.
II. RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
CONDUCT a Second Reading by title only and with full reading waived, and ADOPT, Ordinance No. 23-2304, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 9128.21 ("RELOCATION IMPACT REPORT (RIR)") OF DIVISION 8 ("SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN USES") OF PART 2 ("RESIDENTIAL ZONES") OF CHAPTER 1 ("ZONING") OF ARTICLE IX ("PLANNING AND ZONING") OF THE CARSON MUNICIPAL CODE TO MAKE VARIOUS MODIFICATIONS TO THE PROCESS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR RIR APPLICATIONS AND DECISIONS AS NEEDED OR AUTHORIZED PURSUANT TO STATE LAW AS AMENDED BY ASSEMBLY BILL NO. 2782" (Exhibit No. 1).
